Procedure for Admission under NRI Ward / Children of Gulf NRI / Foreign National / PIO quota:

Procedure for B.E. First Year Students

Online registration of application for admission through computer connected to Internet on the website http://fe2020.mahacet.org/ for NRI/OCI/PIO, Children of Indian workers in Gulf countries, Foreign National should go in person with the print of online filled application form & required documents by for verification & confirmation to the following address as per dates given by competent authority.

Procedure for M.B.A First Year Students

Online registration of application for admission through computer connected to Internet on the website http://mba22.mahacet.org.in/cet2022/mba22/ for NRI/OCI/PIO, Children of Indian workers in Gulf countries, Foreign National should go in person with the print of online filled application form & required documents by for verification & confirmation to the following address as per dates given by competent authority.

In addition to above, candidates (NRI Ward / Children of Gulf NRI / Foreign National / PIO quota) have to follow the procedure as given below:

  1. Eligible candidates desirous to seek admission in B.E. First Year under this category, are required to submit their Admission Request Form (ARF), along with the required documents to deanadmissions@rknec.edu.
  2. Last date for submitting the ARF under NRI-Ward Quota, FN / PIO / Gulf NRI category is 15/9/2022.
  3. The Provisional allotment, as per merit based on PCM after scrutiny, will be carried out on 15/9/2022 as per DTE guidelines. Candidates will also be intimated through their emails. The candidate has to confirm his/her admission by paying the full fee and submitting the required original documents up to 25/9/2022. This provisional admission will be subject to the submission of additional documents such as Eligibility certificate from the concerned university and No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Foreign Students Advisor of Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTM Nagpur University), Nagpur, before the cut-off date of admissions declared by D.T.E. (State CET CELL) (NOC is applicable to FN / PIO / Children of Gulf NRI only).
  4. Application Request Form (ARF) against vacancies (if any), under NRI Ward / FN / PIO / Children of Gulf NRI, can be submitted from 25/9/2022 for consideration under Vacancy Round.
  5. Based on the “Provisional Admission Letter” the candidate is required to contact the Indian Embassy of their country for obtaining a valid student visa for the complete tenure of the course i.e., for FOUR years (This is applicable for FN / PIO students only).
  6. The confirmation of the provisional admission under FN/PIO/GULF NRI/NRI Ward is subject to the final approval by the competent authority / Director of Technical Education/Admission Regulating Authority, Mumbai.
  7. Once the final approval is obtained, the candidate has to complete the Enrollment process of RTM Nagpur University. On completion of the enrollment process, every student of the approved list gets a unique enrollment number.

Note:

  • Eligibility Certificate can be obtained from the concerned university (RTMNU), even before the provisional admissions after submitting the application in the prescribed form along with the fee.
  • No objection Certificate: After getting the eligibility certificate from RTM Nagpur University, the candidate is required to contact the Foreign Student Advisor of RTM Nagpur University. The candidate will be required to get a medical certificate in the prescribed format, from the Civil Surgeon, Mayo Hospital, Nagpur, after going through some required medical tests. After receiving the medical certificate, the Foreign Student’s Advisor, will direct the candidate to pay INR 40,000/- to the University, then the NOC is issued.
  • In case, the results of “A” level / XII / equivalent examination are awaited, the candidates can also apply for provisional admission. However, they are required to submit the “A” level / XII or equivalent examination certificate at the time of confirmation of admission.
  • Admission in Hostel, if needed, may be taken at the time of confirmation of admission. 5 rooms in the Girls hostel and 25 rooms in the Boys hostel have been reserved for FN/PIO/GULF/NRI students.

Documents required for provisional admission:

  • Register on DTE (State CET CELL) website and get a Unique ID.
  • HSSC/XII Marks Sheet / “A” Level or equivalent certificate examination passed / appeared with English, Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics as essential subjects.
  • SSC/X Marks sheet / “O” level certificate or equivalent certificate.
  • School / College Leaving / Transfer Certificate.
  • Migration Certificate.
  • Nationality Certificate / Citizenship Certificate.
  • VISA (Either working / business) of NRI / Guardian of NRI.
  • Employer Certificate or Salary Certificate of NRI.
  • Passport copy of NRI / Guardian of NRI.
  • Transcripts, if any (applicable for Foreign Students).
  • NOC From RTM, Nagpur University (applicable for Foreign Nationals / PIO / Gulf NRI candidates).
  • Equivalence Certificate from Association of Indian Universities, Delhi (address: AIU house, 16 Comrade Indrajit Gupta Marg, New Delhi-2). Download Application form for Equivalence Certificate

The Fees are to be paid by crossed Demand Draft / Bank Pay Order in the name of “Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering & Management” payable at Nagpur.

Refund Rule: If an admitted student cancels his/her admission within a month, the total amount of tuition fee paid shall be refunded, after deducting 10% of the tuition fee prescribed for the course. If a student cancels his/her admission after one month but before the start of the academic session, then 50% of the total amount of tuition fee paid shall be refunded. If a student cancels his/her admission after the academic session has started, then no refund shall be applicable.

Processing Fee: For processing the application for admission under NRI-Ward / Children of Gulf NRI / FN / PIO, the candidate has to pay INR 5000/- (five thousand only) in cash or DD in favour of “Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering and Management” payable at Nagpur.
